Family Christmas traditions (gift-giving by Santa) are passed on from one generation to the next. The decorated Christmas tree before the gifts underneath the tree are unwrapped, and the special Christmas dinner have been part of a traditional Christmas celebration. Today, gift-giving to children on the evening of December 24 is a symbolic action in the style of the wise men from the east with their gifts. With his full bead and long fur-trimmed red coat, S. Claus is bent carrying his heavy load of gifts to reward the good children. With a “Ho, Ho, Ho” he wishes all a very Merry Christmas!
