Lotus Turtle (2005)

This Lotus Turtle is beautiful to look at and is full of symbolism. Some turtles have been known to live up to 120 years and so have come to symbolize longevity. The Lotus Flower, a symbol of the sun, of creation and rebirth also symbolizes the purity of heart and mind. We have also added Runic Symbols of interest from the earliest recorded runes used by the early Germanic tribes of central Europe and are believed to date back 1,700 years ago and are thought of as an ancient writing system.
