Welcome to the Minnesota Marine Art Museum, Winona, MN

Great art inspired by water.

The Minnesota Marine Art Museum is the product of vision, inspiration and generosity. The Museum features four galleries of world-class art and artifacts and is located in a unique building and picturesque setting on the banks of the Mississippi River.  Along with the new gallery featuring Impressionism and Hudson River School artists, the MMAM exhibits marine art rotating from one of the finest private collections in the country. Visitors can also view whimsical folk art from the Leo Smith Collection and images of the Mississippi River by 19th century photographer Henry Bosse. In addition, there are over 60,000 native plants and grasses to stroll and enjoy along the riverwalk.  Each visit will provide new education opportunities and enlightening experiences.
